Lungziu Henameki Society
Objective
Lungziu Henameki, literally means “Peace Children’s Home”, will be a non-profit home/institution run by Lungziu Henamekie Society that aims to provide a home for orphaned and poor children to live in peace and security. It is located at Samziuram village under Peren district in Nagaland, India
Approach
To provide residential homes for hundred orphans consisting of fifty girls and boys. As per the law, boys and girls are to live in separate homes. Therefore, the plan is to build two four-storey buildings to accommodate boys and girls in separate buildings.
JIP’s contribution to the project
Meanwhile, Lungziu Henameki Society would like to start with 15-20 children because there is a great need to help the children. We need to build two tin-roofed hostels for children and a dinning house. JIP Foundation donate together with Claudiu Popa (Romanian entrepreneur) the amount to build this nobel venture.
End of Project Report
With much joy, I wish to inform you that we have started Lungziu Boys Hostel at Samziuram, Nagaland. We started the hostel with 11 boys ranging from classes 3-8. The boys are orphans and from poor single parent families. They are studying at Army School, Jalukie. So far they are doing well in their studies.
