Objective

JIP Foundation supports organisations and projects that contribute to the wellbeing and future prospects of people in vulnerable circumstances.

In accordance with its statutory objectives, the Foundation particularly supports organisations providing assistance to people in need and initiatives inspired by Christian values. Special attention is given to children and young people, education, healthcare, protection from exploitation and human trafficking, and the development of vulnerable communities.

The Foundation may also support local and regional youth initiatives in the Netherlands and, to a lesser extent, projects concerning nature and cultural heritage.
Policy 2026–2030
JIP Foundation is primarily a grant-making foundation. It does not normally operate projects itself but provides financial support to organisations with the knowledge, experience and local networks required to implement them.

JIP combines long-term commitment with individual project grants.

The Foundation may support one selected project or organisation for several consecutive years. This allows JIP to build a relationship with the organisation and contribute to continuity and sustainable results. The current multi-year commitment focuses on educational opportunities for children attending schools in the Holy Land.

Alongside this multi-year commitment, JIP supports individual projects in the Netherlands and abroad that fit the objectives of the Foundation.

Projects are selected by the Board on the basis of their relevance to JIP's objectives, their expected impact, the reliability of the organisation involved and the effective use of the funds provided.

Funding and Management of Assets

JIP Foundation is an endowment fund funded by the family. The Foundation does not actively solicit donations or conduct public fundraising campaigns.

The assets of the Foundation are managed prudently and responsibly. The objective of the financial management is to enable JIP to continue supporting charitable projects over the longer term.

The Board determines the amount available for charitable expenditure, taking into account the Foundation's resources, existing multi-year commitments and anticipated future projects.

The Foundation does not seek to make a profit. Its assets and income are used exclusively to further its statutory charitable objectives.
Board and Remuneration
The Board is responsible for the policy of the Foundation, the management of its assets and the selection, approval and monitoring of projects.

Chair: Jos den Hengst
Secretary: Jasper van de Bovenkamp
Treasurer: Kees Goudswaard

Board members receive no remuneration for their activities. They may only be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties.

JIP Foundation has no paid employees.
