Greek Orthodox Patriarchate Schools ( Jerusalem & Bethlehem (Beit Sahour), Holy Land)

Objective

To support Christian education in the Holy Land and enable children from families facing financial hardship to continue their education.

Approach

Christian schools play an important role in providing high-quality education while promoting values of tolerance, love, compassion and solidarity. Many families struggle to meet the cost of tuition. The schools therefore provide financial assistance based on each family’s individual circumstances. In addition, investment in computers and educational equipment helps create a modern learning environment for students.

JIP’s contribution to the project

Since 2023, JIP Foundation has supported Christian education at St. Dimitri School in Jerusalem and Shepherd’s School in Beit Sahour. JIP’s support enables children from financially vulnerable families to remain in school by contributing to their tuition fees. In the first years, JIP also helped improve the schools’ educational facilities through the provision of computers and ICT equipment. The annual support for school fees continues to be the core of this partnership.
